The Book Forge

The bookstore has long been a clubhouse for writers and readers, and that’s exactly what we are first: a bookstore. But The Book Forge also follows the tradition of literary discourse by hosting book clubs, writing groups, and novel writing workshops – where at least one member of each of our cohorts is guaranteed a traditional publication offer for their novel.

Located at 3 South Main Street in Orange, Massachusetts and home to Central MA’s only publishing house and writing workshop, we’re proud to offer a totally unique space that stands apart from other bookstores you might be familiar with.
